November 16, 2021
Through its Hawaii Barrier Removal Fund program, Ohana Health Plan will distribute more than $80,000 in grants to providers across the state to provide equal access to quality healthcare and services that are physically and programmatically accessible for members with disabilities and their companions. They are working with the National Council on Independent Living to support local providers and help them improve their practices to make them more equitable and accessible for all.
