FEMA Hosts Stakeholder Engagement Event for ADA Anniversary

The Federal Emergency Management Agency Offices of Disability Integration and Coordination (ODIC) and Equal Rights (OER) will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the passage of the ADA with a disability stakeholder engagement event from 1 - 2 p.m. ET on July 21st. The event brings together the FEMA teams dedicated to the Agency's commitment to equity within all areas of its work.
The event will be moderated by Co-Director of the Pacific ADA Center, Lewis Kraus, and will explore the role the ADA plays in guiding FEMA's work, including:
- Effective communication for people with disabilities,
- Facility access for people with disabilities, and
- Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
