New Report on Disability and the Digital Divide
June 21, 2022
A new report from the Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy looks at how a gap in access to both computing devices and the internet disproportionately effects people with disabilities. This gap causes barriers to their ability to prepare for, get, and do well in jobs. The report reviews studies and other information on this topic, data on internet subscriptions, internet use, and employment status among people with disabilities to help policymakers and others in creating policies and practices to improve the current situation.
