Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland is More Accessible

Disneyland has reopened the Mickey’s Toontown park after one year of major updates. Some of the changes include new accessibility features that make the park accessible to guests regardless of ability. Some of the accessibility features include:

  • Making the area curb free
  • Larger landing zones for slides to help guests with physical disabilities
  • Quiet zones and tactile experiences throughout the area
  • Shaded rest zones with accessible benches

These accessibility improvements are talked about in the article titled “Disneyland revamps Mickey's Toontown to improve accessibility, relaxation: An inside look”.
