Neither ADA nor Civil Rights Act Offer a Blanket Exemption to Mask, Vaccine Requirements
Critics of mask and vaccination requirements have falsely claimed several laws exempt them from having to follow public health guidelines such as having to comply with businesses that require face coverings or proof of vaccination upon entry. Experts say laws including the Americans with Disabilties Act and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 do not offer blanket protection from mask mandates or vaccine requirements.
