New factsheet on job coaches as accommodations

Posted on June 26, 2024

The ADA Network Knowledge Translation Center has a new factsheet, Job Coaches as Accommodations: A Guide for Employment Service Professionals.

The factsheet covers how employment service professionals, such as job coaches, may be considered a reasonable accommodation in the workplace under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It explains how to guide employers through the reasonable accommodation process and what to do if the accommodation is denied. The factsheet may be used by job coaches to help them understand the important role that they play in supporting job seekers and employees with disabilities. This factsheet is also available in Spanish.
