The U.S. Department of Justice has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) proposing to amend the ADA Title III regulations to require movie theaters to show movies with closed movie captioning and audio description so those with hearing and visual disabilities can better access the movies. These proposed rules are now open for public comment through September 30th.
