2022 Polio/Abilities Awareness Expo

The Pacific ADA Center is one of ten Regional Centers in the ADA National Network created to educate people about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The Pacific ADA Center serves Region 9 which covers Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, and the Pacific Basin Territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

As stated, one of the goals of the Ability Awareness Expo is to educate on issues confronting people with disabilities. Becoming educated on the rights and responsibilities established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) helps to ensure that people with disabilities are provided the opportunity to participate in the goods and services being offered to everyone else. Reasonable modifications may be necessary to ensure this opportunity is provided.

At the Pacific ADA Center we do not enforce the law but we can assess how the ADA might apply to a given situation. If you have a question of how the ADA might apply please contact us at 1 (800) 949-4232.
