San Francisco Transit Leader to Help Improve Access for People with Disabilities

Maddy Ruvolo, a disabled urban planner for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, has spent her career making sure that people with disabilities can get around their neighborhoods and surrounding areas. Her work caught the attention of President Biden, and she has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Access Board, an independent government agency committed to accessibility for people with disabilities.
