Sundance Jury Walks Out Over No Captioning

The article, “Sundance Jury Walks Out of ‘Magazine Dreams’ Premiere After Festival Fails to Provide Captioning for Juror Marlee Matlin” talks about a recent failure of the Sundance Film Festival to provide working captioning for deaf and hard of hearing members of the audience during the U.S. Dramatic Competition event. In response, members of the event’s jury walked out.

The event’s jury had wanted to make sure that the films were fully accessible by providing captioning to attendees that asked for it.
