The Rocky Mountain ADA Center has a new report: Wearable devices in the workplace and the ADA. It covers how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to wearable devices in the workplace, including:
- Employers’ responsibilities and considerations when requiring or asking their employees to use these devices, and
- The rights of people with disabilities.
Wearable devices refers to different tools people can wear on their bodies, such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, smart glasses, rings, and other devices that track bodily movement and other activities.
