To make sure everyone can take part, we need to make things accessible. Come to a webinar on October 19th from 3:00 to 4:30 PM Eastern Time. It’s called “Effective Communication and Access for Job Seekers who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.” Employment and Training Administration, Civil Rights Center, and ODEP organized this webinar. They want to show the best ways, tools, and technology available for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
In the webinar, you’ll learn how to communicate with these job seekers. You’ll also hear from experienced American Job Center staff in California and Michigan. They will share their knowledge and experiences. They’ll also talk about Section 188 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
