Event description
11 AM – 12 Noon: Tea + Tour with the DCC – join our co-directors for a virtual-only tour of the space. Register early and get a gift sent to you in advance for your teatime with us!
Disabled folks, oracles that we are, dreamed up a hybrid cultural center nearly a decade ago. For us, community is coming together on the best days, worst days, and bed days. Settle in on Zoom with a cup of tea and let us show you around our indoor-outdoor hybrid home. This space reflects your disabled brilliance – it’s a center built by us and for us.
4:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Disability Culture is Here: Dinner + Drag
Disability Culture is at 165 Grove Street! Please join us for dinner and gorgeously disabled drag performances by King LOTUS BOY and Iman. Whether you want to come with friends, meet new folks, or enjoy a solo evening in community, we would LOVE to have you. There will be two different seatings so that we can welcome as many of you as possible. Some details vary so make sure you read all the information before you register.
