AprApril 4 2024

Description

Vertical access between different levels along accessible routes is a crucial aspect of accessibility. This session will address the requirements and clarify common sources of confusion when providing vertical access. Questions such as, “Does my building require an elevator?”, “When can I use a lift?”, or “When can I use a Limited Use Limited Application (LULA) elevator?” will be answered. Additionally, the presenters will review the scoping and technical requirements for elevators, platform lifts, and stairs.

This session includes real-time captioning and video remote sign language interpreting.
