CASp Exam Preparation Course
The Pacific ADA Center offers a 4-day course that reviews the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to pass the examination to become a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) in California. A CASp is an individual who is certified to review buildings and facilities for compliance with state and federal construction-related accessibility codes and standards.
The course’s benefits include:
- Trainers with extensive experience with the American’s with Disabilities Act, the Fair Housing Act, and California statutes and Building Code Chapters 11A and 11B and who can explain the laws, codes and standards and the reasons behind them. The trainers also have prior experience holding CASp examination preparation courses.
- Exercises dealing with architectural plans that demonstrate accessibility concepts.
- Sample questions relevant to the open and closed book sections of the exam.
- Success by course attendees in passing the CASp examination. More than 60 percent of attendees have passed the examination after completing the course.
