Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Webinar Series Sessions and Online Events are free and open to the public. Past sessions and events are available on demand. The series include:
Emergency Management and Preparedness- Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities Webinar Series
These sessions are produced by the Pacific ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network.
This webinar series shares issues and promising practices in local and state emergency management to include people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs. The series topics cover emergency preparedness and disaster response, recovery and mitigation as well as accessibility and reasonable accommodation issues under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and other relevant laws.

Health Care and the ADA Webinar Series
These sessions are produced by the Pacific ADA Center in collaboration with the ADA National Network.
Health care providers have responsibilities under the ADA when delivering health care services. When these requirements are not met, people with disabilities may fail to receive the health care they need and deserve. These webinars review the ADA requirements for health care providers, as well as resources and promising practices for improving access to these services by people with disabilities.
